For future reference, here's something you 4 can use to query nodes via XPath and sort 3 the result via XPath as well: SimpleDOM. In this 2 example, I sort all <tree/> nodes by values of 1 the order attribute:

        <tree name="Frisbee" order="1"/>

foreach ($nodes as $node)
{
    echo $node->asXML(), "\n";

This should give you what you want:

I wrote a recursive, expanded version that 2 will sort by any number of attributes, in 1 order:
