Your code is working at my end, i have just 5 tested it. Where are you checking your changes? Use 4 Documents directory path. To get path -

NSLog(@"%@",documentsDirectory);

and 3 copy path from console and then open finder 2 and press Cmd+shift+g and paste path here 1 and then open your file

as
